    Amo mi Hamaca!

    The word hammock comes from the native Arawak language of the Caribbean and northern South America region. The Taino people are part of my ancestry, and to me, being in a Hamaca is a daily ritual that connects to the soul. I have used Hamacas all my life. I’m very particular about the feel of the yarn. Yellow Leaf has done a great job! The colors are also divine and do not fade. I also have “The Hammock Stand,” which is very well designed and comfortable (5’-5” tall; I think people taller than 6’ may find it a bit short in span). Pro tip: they can be washed in the washing machine. Just make sure to tie the ends together so it doesn’t tangle.

    Absolutely the Best!!

    It is wonderful! The colors are awesome and it’s well made!! I look forward to going out to my lanai and relaxing in my hammock chair!

    Customer service at its best!

    Fell in love with this hammock chair on a cruise. Purchased one onboard... fast-forward 4 months later setting it up in my backyard realized I purchased hammock instead of hammock chair. Quintin and his team did a fabulous job helping me out! So appreciative of their efforts.

    Not only are their hammocks heavenly...their customer service people are angels on earth! 😀

    Excellent product & service!!

    I ordered a hammock for my husband’s birthday, having experienced it on a VV Cruise. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong color and wanted to change it. Such efficient help from Quintin, promptly answering all my questions and arranging for the exchange which arrived in perfect time. My husband loves the hammock, it’s perfect on our lanai. Both the Signature Hammock and Hammock Chair are handwoven with our ultra-soft, weathersafe Performance Yarn™. It is a solution-dyed acrylic yarn that is the gold standard for outdoor durability. Our Weightless Weave™ construction combines 150,000 ultra-soft loops to cradle you weightlessly.

The Signature Hammock and Hammock Chair can be used anywhere thanks to our Performance Yarn™. It’s a solution-dyed acrylic that is weathersafe and UV-safe, as well as mold, mildew, and rot-resistant. It’s totally fine to keep hammocks made with this yarn outdoors.

Our hammocks can be hung in a multitude of spaces and can all have their hanging range extended with our 'Go Anywhere' Hammock Straps.

Here are some quick hanging guidelines for our top hammocks:

-Classic Size Signature Hammock (10ft long): Hang ends 8’-11’ apart, around 5’ high.
-Family Size Signature Hammock (11ft long): Hang ends 9’-12’ apart, around 5’ high.
-Chair Hammock (4ft wide x 7ft deep): Hang ends 3’6”-5’ apart, around 5’6”-6’ high (requires overhead hanging setup).

For permanent setups, 'porch swing' hooks from your local hardware store work well. Check our YLH Hammock Hanging Guide for images and detailed tips.

Every Yellow Leaf Hammock comes with a "Hammocking 101" Guidebook with detailed instructions on how and where to hang your hammock.

Since hanging options vary, hardware is not included. However, we do offer versatile tree straps and an adjustable hammock stand!

For Chair Hammocks, check out our new stands:
-The VISTA™, a lightweight, portable hammock stand that can be taken anywhere and only takes a minute to assemble.
-The Hammock Throne™, a gorgeous furniture piece made with hardwood and steel.

We recommend handwashing your hammock in cold water using a mild detergent and hanging it spread out to dry. To avoid tangling the ends (the "scale lines"), tie them in big knots.

Our Performance Yarn™ is colorfast, so you don't have to worry about it bleeding. You definitely don't want to put it in the washing machine or the dryer though!

Our interwoven micro-yarns are extremely strong, but you should still practice caution with buckles, zippers, and buttons to prevent holes or tears. For detailed care tips, refer to the Hammocking 101 Guide and care manual included with your purchase.
